i went to the caravans that were about 15 mins away to ask for it back but noone was there not even the wives. i'm gonna try my luck and go back later!
my advise mate is leave it... £150 isnt worth getting your legs broke for. there will be more of them than you and they stick together. i will have a go at any @unt but pikeys...... no @ucking way!

Go round late at night with a huge hammer and do the tinkers vehicle windows in. That's what I'd do if I couldn't get the diff back. Just...be...very...careful. Please !!!

Some pikeys are push overs, some are just wankers who'll give in eventually, some give as good as they get and some are total fucking nut cases, the problem is you don't know which type these are.

And best case scenario is you get the diff back no probs worst case is lying in a pool of your own blood with your face inside out and the bastards are buggering off so no chance of retribution or police action.

Gippos have the advantage of being able to dissapear when trouble rears its ugly head.

Though I recall when I live in Swansea a bunch of the nasty types did get a proper kicking and met their match when they pissed off the whole community and tried to bully their way around town.

Thing is though for all the damage done to them all the new 4x4's burnt out and caravans smashed after the carnage they probably nicked everything that was damaged on the way out.

They did have their uses though, a group of irish gypsies would be round our work with a transit full of goodies from ireland for sale every few weeks, they'd then be on the blag and rob all night hop on the ferry back to ireland and sell the gear they stole over here there.

37kg for a diff at roughly £12 per 100kg scrap. less than a fiver scrap value.

...but if added to all the other diffs and stuff theyve robbed recently it can add up to a fair old weight.

The Twats turned my garage over to get my minimoto a couple of years ago, but the most annoying thing was my insurance company I phoned them (after the useless fuzz) and started to read out a list of what was gone and they had a clause to not pay out for my minimoto because it had an engine and moved under it's own power it should have a seperate policy! So I added a full set of metric snap on tools and a full set of imperial snap on tools to my list. At £10,000 grand each they were only too happy to pay out the £2000 maximum in cash.

to any insurers who may be reading this - it's just a joke...honest!

The village my brother lives in had a load of pikeys/gippos move into a field next to the house across the road from him. He use to repair cars for a living and it wasn't long before they started to bring their "bargain" cars to have work done, the first 5 or 6 they paid for but then they started to not pay. He then refused to do anymore work until he was paid. He emphasised his refusal by showing them a shotgun he had "borrowed".

Their gaffer's car (a big Merc) needed work done and they begged him to fix it. He did the work but dropped a tin of valve grinding paste into the engine before they took it away. Wasn't long before engine was fecked.

His other form of revenge was to go into the grounds of the house next to them at night and break the windows of their trucks and cars for sale using a powerful catapult and a tin of aniseed balls as ammo (evidence disappears).

Eventually the Council made them leave but they had to leave a couple of cars behind. When they came back to get them late on a Friday night, they were merrily burning away after my brother and a mate had been at the pub and dropped some petrol and matches.

Here's a tip if it happens to you, my old man used to operate the weighbridge that the scrapyard used to send them to. Because he had control over their weigh-ins, he also had virtually unlimited power and influence with the jakes. If you approach the weighbridge operator properly he can perform miracles with a quiet word in their ears, without ending up dead or worse.

What an excellent approach! Very diplomatic.

I personally would NEVER MESS! I could personally handle a smack in the face, even from a 5kg fist dripping in shit argos gold. I couldn't handle either being accidentally killed, chucked in a ditch and forgotten about, or at the best having my house robbed repeatedly.

In fact, I could probably handle all that pretty well. What would really fuck!ng cheese me off would be some twat in a stab vest telling me there's nothing he could do then nicking me for going 0.1mph over the speed limit, smoking a naturally occuring sucstance or getting jumped at 2 in the morning by two pikey cvnts and having the unfortunate ability to defend myself and kicking sh!t out of them right back. [vein throbs in temple]
