Just an idea im mulling over but now i have sold the capri i have a spare rover V8 kicking around.... i know its been done before so how hard is it? im not going into whether its worth it etc because i know the m20 isnt far off the power etc. but the noise alone would be worth it. so, how hard?

It's been done before. Buster has a mate with one in an E30. Try the search function.

Sounds perfect for a cab. Nice lazy low tech V8.

exactly... big something with nice long ratios to keep it to a burble and better fuel consumption and it would make an awesome beach trip cruiser
