m-tech 1 and m-tec 2 325i cylinder heads same?

hi all
i need a new head on my h reg car and so far i have found a m-tec1 head so was wondering is this will fit and be ok?

as long as the casting says 885 on it its same as dude

early cars had a slightly longer duration cam , the post 88 units were tuned with less overlap to run cleaner emmisions, could be you lucky day, a few extra ponies to play with :cool:

the 323 and 320 heads will fit ok iirc-can be swapped no probs

head is not affected by fuelling system

probably got a wilder stock cam in there-best ask the zone tho-i could be wrong (yeah I know it doesnt happen often :wink: )

diff is its not got the dizzy cap on front like the 320i has can that be sorted?
should it give more power with the 323 head on??

I have a complete engine from a 1990 H plate 325i SE here. 120k FSH, excellent runner, I removed it from the car last night (finished at 11pm) lol.
Im after Ԛ£250 for it. it comes with the gearbox, and clutch cylinder and the alternator/starter motor.

This of any use to you if you wanted a lowish mileage later head?
