m-tech 1 and m-tec 2 325i cylinder heads same?

hi all
i need a new head on my h reg car and so far i have found a m-tec1 head so was wondering is this will fit and be ok?

as long as the casting says 885 on it its same as dude

early cars had a slightly longer duration cam , the post 88 units were tuned with less overlap to run cleaner emmisions, could be you lucky day, a few extra ponies to play with

sorry to butt in ant but does that mean a c plate 323 head would fit an f 320i???
with a little tinkering of course

the 323 and 320 heads will fit ok iirc-can be swapped no probs

mmm so what difference will the head make??

and can it fit in with the motronic etc??

head is not affected by fuelling system

probably got a wilder stock cam in there-best ask the zone tho-i could be wrong (yeah I know it doesnt happen often

)

diff is its not got the dizzy cap on front like the 320i has can that be sorted?
should it give more power with the 323 head on??

I have a complete engine from a 1990 H plate 325i SE here. 120k FSH, excellent runner, I removed it from the car last night (finished at 11pm) lol.
Im after Ãƒ”šÃ‚£250 for it. it comes with the gearbox, and clutch cylinder and the alternator/starter motor.

This of any use to you if you wanted a lowish mileage later head?
