Hi there ...
My current set up is a JVC chameleon HU (330 I think), JVC changer and 4 13cm Pioneer speakers in factory locations (this is a cab).
Decided to upgrade .. I have, after Cliffybabe's recommendation, bought Hertz Dieci components for the front and for now will leave the decent Pioneers I have in the back. An Alpine V12 amplifier will be added to the setup.
I also have an Alpine HU ... a 9851 which is MP3 compatible - the older JVC isn't. So before I go hunting for an Alpine CD changer (I don't have an Ipod) .. .. ..
Should I stick with the JVC which I have been very happy with or go with the Alpine ??

Which is best ?

The alpine will produce a better quality of sound and also adding a sub to a alpine is alot better than the JVC
Its personnal pref really mate, give it ago and see how u get on with it, it aint hard to change over the HU's
I have a old saying which i still go with, If its the same make between amp and HU there deisgned to work better with one and other

Considering Selling the Cabby, looks like its gonna go
