E36 seats into an E30

I know this has probably been covered elswhere but I can't find it using the search facility

What is required to allow E36 seats to be fitted onto an E30?
I have measured the seat runners and fixing holes and none of them line up.

i fitted them in my cab drilled 1 extra hole in the floor plan they do fit but there aint much room left in the
front and i found the seats made u sit to high

I got a proper set of E30 sport seats for my cab and there so much better
