62000 miles is a about 25,000 per year, so it really is a repmobile.

I think thats about the cheapest I've seen that hasn't been rolled into a ball. FSH should see it good. I'd still haggle though, for what it's worth. 8)

I love the 1 series, this is my missus' 120d that we sold a couple of months back...

We swap all our cars after 6-12 months and that one stayed for 18 months. Chipped to 210bhp is was a rocket, I had a 535d that was tuned to 340bhp and nearly 700nm of torque and the 120d could loose it on the twisties as there are just so chuckable (once you have ditched the run flat tyres) .
I would buy another tomorrow, and at that price it I would say go for it.

I swapped my 535d for a CSL just before a week in Scotland, it did the trip perfectly with bikes on the roof and luggage for 3.

The took it to France, Switzerland and Italy and did 3000 miles in 2 weeks, and it was a superb car in the alps, great fun.

All in all I would say my favourite all round car. A big thumbs up from me.

I really really like the steering feel on the 1 series. Its pretty much the perfect weight. The 116 and 118 are totally underpowered and I wouldn't opt for one of them. The other thing I like is the electrically adjustable bolster support. A very useful toy if more than one person drives the car.

i've had one when mine was in for a service and the 118i was a touch uninspiring at base spec, but a sport with a decent engine and a few toys would be great.

It was still a nice car to drive

that looks a little bit too good to be true, especially as its a diesel and they command high prices, even at that milage!

surely repmobiles aren't that bad? They must have a lot of motorway miles and full servicing. As long as the breathmints and pork pie wrappers have been removed from the car before you get to it... why not?
