you dirty whore, lol
not going to make aces myself as im away for my birthday, bit of a shame as its on the list of places i want to go and its not often us northern (relatively speaking) folk seem to feel like making the effort
anyway back on topic, im looking forward to this meet, my cars on the ramp at work at the moment minus its wheels as theyve gone away for their second refurb after they started bubbling. sent the front cradle and anti roll bar away for a powder coating session too to go with the new (bmw) wishbones, m3 bushes, arb bushes and brackets and links and all new bolts
. replaced the rear beam bushes and now ive got some cash the 2.8 is back on so plenty happening to bore you all to tears with
hope buster gets pissed again, hes a real funny drunk

Squires Cafe!
Be careful on the way home though guys...
I managed to stuff my Jetta on the last bend before hitting the 'old' A1 coming away from the meet. That was REALLY clever of me! I was VERY lucky as it was a 15ft drop at 45 degrees. It's only coz the Jetta is so low that I was saved from rolling it I think. Popped a ball-joint and bent a G60 rim. Anyway, have a good meet, but be careful!

Yikes Giles, that looks scary, looks like a corn on the cob in your hand in that 2nd pic.
Saw a pic of your Jetta in one of the VW mags with the Audi pepperpots on. Still got the A8?
Everyone else still good for this?

Milko... just remember that corner on your way home! Don't want more crash pics on the Cult forum!
I would come, but her indoors is on about wanting to go out... we don't get too many nights at the weekend together, so sorry chaps!
Make it another time though... be good to catch up with you all.

well that was a close one!!!!!
just got in from work after staying over to swap the complete front subframe over ready for tomorrow, not an easy task on your own to say the least and i didnt really need the head of one of the bolts shearing off which left the shaft rusted solid inside the subframe making it impossible to remove. started drilling it but the bit snapped leaving it undrillable so had no option but to cut the subframe off. the bolt then sheared level with the chassis leg, more drilling and tapping and then a lot of juggling about to get the new assembly in.
sorted now though and it feels good on all the new bushes but the tracking is quite a way out especially with the new M3 bottom arm bushes, hope i can get that sorted tomorrow and itll be a nice drive to the sherburn
