I'd like to see it too, But with a slight twist.

How about two sub forums which cover the age specific problems and questions.

Everything else continues as it does now.

This could be problematic as metal bumper convertibles ran to 90. This chrome section was initialy thought up to cater for all things metal bumper.

Chrome and plastic sections? That could work. Get rid of the photo gallery section perhaps and let Zoners show off their cars on the relevant sub-forum maybe?

I see what you mean there.....I think pre 9/87 metal bumper saloons and all steel bumper Convertibles would cover it. 'Chrome Zone' would be pretty self explanatory I think.
Where's Dom320i? He's got a really pretty '84 320i Auto. He'd love a bit of this! Plus Ed the 323i deviant. winkeye

Practically Spastic - LOL - yes I'm on there as well. 15" BBS are a new addition - was on bottletops until a couple of weeks ago.

Chris W is gonna help me with a PAS conversion hopefully this week .... there is then a long list of other tweaks I have planned....but will be keeping it fairly original looking

This would be an additional section (or indeed 2), & I don't see how it would cause any division - the existing E30 chat section'd still be there for everyone...

You keep telling yourself that Dave but i think you'll find that 99% of peoples opinion is that the metal bumper cars look 'old'!
