This could be problematic as metal bumper convertibles ran to 90. This chrome section was initialy thought up to cater for all things metal bumper.

yes i have. today ive refurbed my 4 brake calipers and buffed up and hammerited my diff. all bmw parts

I see what you mean there.....I think pre 9/87 metal bumper saloons and all steel bumper Convertibles would cover it. 'Chrome Zone' would be pretty self explanatory I think.
Where's Dom320i? He's got a really pretty '84 320i Auto. He'd love a bit of this! Plus Ed the 323i deviant.

Practically Spastic - LOL - yes I'm on there as well. 15" BBS are a new addition - was on bottletops until a couple of weeks ago.

Chris W is gonna help me with a PAS conversion hopefully this week .... there is then a long list of other tweaks I have planned....but will be keeping it fairly original looking

You keep telling yourself that Dave but i think you'll find that 99% of peoples opinion is that the metal bumper cars look 'old'!
Dont get me wrong, i love a chromie and my first E30 was one, in fact i'm hankering for a metal bumper alpina B6 3.5.
