White car + white wheels =
White car + silver wheels = OK-ish
White car + black wheels = :puke:
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

white car with white wheels looks like a Fisher+Price styled childs toy car. colour coding is gay . winkeye
silver is indeed to boring to consider. i cant think of anything else that will look good on a white car apart from grey/black/dark wheels.
im mean look at mine in my sig below. is it possible for a white car to look cooler than that? i dont think so as white is indeed a sh1te colour of car to begin with :D

i think it needs the polished lip to break up the wheel from the tyre or it just looks like cheap steel rims from a distance.

i've started to notice a lot of cars with black alloys. from a distance (more than about 15ft) they look like steelies so white or silver .......... or metallic grey, just to be differant.
wanted passenger side rear door for touring.pref dark blue

wanted, toy Bmw's any series, not for me for my 3year old daughter.

I say plain black. I have never seen yours close up fuzzy, but alpina reps don't have a definitive rim to be polished so I cant imagine them looking good close up with a polished rim.

I am with those who suggest the black and polished rim, I have to say that when painting wheels black they do look smaller, in-order to differentiate between the tyre and the rim its always worth either painting a colour (infact black with a white rim would be very cool I think) on the rim or polishing it.

I wouldn't go gloss black either, it will show all of the dirt/ brake dust straight away, meaning the car will look dirty as soon as you drive it. Satin is much better at hiding the dirt.

Heres mine:

Not the best pic I know, but it shows that if the yellow wasn't there the wheel would look small and lack definition from the tyre.

Haha, I would like to think not!! I only had it for a few months, replaced the steering guibo, washed it, moted it, oh and spun it!! (hence the dent!) winkeye

Silver wheels are as boring as fook!, white aplinas with a polished rim would look the nuts, but would only suit the car if it was fully colour coded with chomes details....
but as the car in your sig has shadow chrome, black kidneys and black trim, the black and polished effect would suit it much better.

Love that yellow line around the rim :P was thinking of something similar for my wheels as they look smaller than they actually are.

did you do them yourself or get them done professionally?
