Rite ive decided i want a new head unit since i have upgraded all speakers and baught a new amp.
Head unit would be best if it lit up orange/ red and has to have 2 RCA Pre Outs as i have a 4 channel amp and not to be anymore than 70 quid
any sugestions????

i find JVC for that sort of budget work great and music clarity and quality is unrivalled for a low budget, some orange ones still around i think.... if you wont shift on the orange thing though, pioneer still do an orange lit head unit but for that price it wouldnt be better than a JVC unit.

maybe, my jvc was 120 wen i got it and getting sold for 70 in halfords now, had it over a year and i run a changer, amp and twin subs, i think it does have 2 pre outs, if the one you get doesnt, for a fiver you can pick up a pre out 1 into 2 which converts it to a twin pre out. You get them to run two amps fron one pre out

ey, i kenwood is ok actually, i had 1 before i turned to JVC, halfords supply JVC, it would be worth doin what cliffy said and look at the ex-demos, you may pick up a bargain... i got mine from halford brand new but they still sell them for 70 quid and they really are worth it. but its up to you man, just giving my opinion

avoid that ripspeed dvd unit. i used to work for halfords and we had a few of them back with "quality issues". our display one alone wouldn't stay shut (if you understand what i mean) and the coating on the buttons wears off REALLY quickly! the kenwood 4034a would get my money if i was in your position but alwasy ask if your in halfords about the ex display ones. some are stiil in A1 condition in my previous experience.

I have a Sony CD player head unit that was attached to an Alpine V12 amp. You can have it for £40 if you want?
