Hi Guys

Ive finally got the exhaust on and its still settling in. :D

We noticed a slight ticking noise when the exhaust went on and we started the car. It sounded like noisy tappets at first. :o:

The MS isnt on so the car has a sputter in the low gears at low revs, however at about 4000rpm and over as the turbo boosts we noticed a puff of smoke pass out the exhaust and the ticking became more prominent. :banghead:

We drained out the oil today and test drove the car however the noise seems to have developed into a knocking sound :( , however minus the MS the car still feels quite strong at 4000rpm and over.

Anyone have any idea what it could be or has anyone experienced similar symptoms on their turbo setup, please feel free to post your comments.

Thanks

Rivaaj

sounds like the exhaust manifold is not sitting square on the head or a damaged mani gasket mate

agreed , im guessing it has detonated its self to pieces.

Why would you run the car on standard management that is crazy.
