Hi guys, this is a bit cheeky of me to ask for advice here seeing as tho I am no longer an E30 owner (waiting to find an M3) but here go's...

I bought Wonder Wheels today and couldn't wait to get home and clean up my rims, tested it on one wheel to check for reactions etc. and all was fine. Continued with the rest of the wheels and they've all turned streaky white!!!

Never had this prob before with wonder wheels but was wondering if anyone else has?? solutions??

Cheers

Wonder wheels is a nasty product. Very acidic iirc.

It has probably bleached the lacquer on the wheels.

Can I fix that or is it a re-laquer job? Any polishes do the job?

Cheers

should be able bring them back up with a decent polish maybe a compound if there stuborn. then seal them with a good wheel wax and chuck the wonder wheels in the bin.

Don't leave Wonder Wheels on while you go and do the others.
Put it on, agitate it with a wheel brush if the wheels are bad and rinse it off. Don't leave it on for longer than you have to.
