i am after fitting a cage to my 3 door e30. there is know way i can aforde a new one so am looking for one second hand. i would like a 6 point boulte in so i can move it to my next e30 wen the time comes but would consiter other cages. my main question is about cages not made for an e30? is there any other cages that would boulte in with or without slight modifacation?

If you are good with a pipe bender and welder you could make your own.

Leon.
You only have one head and one body. Buy a proper 6 point cage and get it fitted correctly. If you can't afford it yet save your money until you can

To build your own you would have to get the right spec tube and be a very good welder.
We used to build the cages for our stock car and they got tested.

ive fitted omp cages before, not saying there all like this, but my ones were a real pig to fit, not the best. but depends what you want it for. safety devices were better but more welding is needed on the load plates.

OMP is the cheapest E30 cage and wont be able to make one for the cost of these...the Safetydevices ones are more expensive because the fit better and are powdercoated and have more bars...what value your life
