That E30 M3 is Martins (Texas's) from this forum I am pretty sure. Really good car and sounds the part too with the CF airbox conversion and 8000 RPM and tuned by me
E30 M3 Unichip Alpha N style conversions, this is the ultimate for extracting the best out of your S14 M power car.
Also, Live mapping of your Standard Motronic ECU for optimising all your modifications.

Good pics - although the unhappy M20 at the top is a sad sight! I'm off to the 'Ring in May with a mate, in his E30 M3. Can't wait, this'll be my first time...

Spoke to the guys at work yesterday and we'll hopefully have access to the VW workshop for when the car breaks. Should be handy!

It most certainly is a top track to go to. We always stay at Hotel on der Nordschleife in Adenau. Eddy is very hospitable, speaks good english and even if he can't put you up in his hotel he'll try find you accom. He hosts the Ferrari F1 team every year.

The m3 was a 5 stud mucka 8)

Been to the ring a couple of times. First time as a passenger, second time on my bike (stooopid!!), and this year in my E30 bought specially for the trip. Should be the best trip yet.

We stop at the Hotel Zurburg which is a full 30 second drive from the ring in Nurburg itself. Doesn't get much better.

For first timers, a couple of tips for food: The chinese restaurant in Adenau is fantastic and relatively cheap, and there is an Italian/Pizza restaurant in Nurburg which you get to via a small downhill track, this is also top quality. Advisable to book for both as they get full very quickly.

For a good daytime activity (particularly in bad weather) get yourself to Lidl in Adenau and buy a load of beer that they do in plastic bottles, it is about 5% and very nice but only costs a couple of quid for six 500ml bottles!!. Buy a load of sandwiches (also very cheap) and go up to the viewing point at Adenauer Forst, and sit for the afternoon getting hammered and watching people crash. Hours of endless fun!!!

If anybody's not been to the ring yet WHY THE HELL NOT? It is the best trip you will make. :D
