.......by identifying these wheels.

Image

My first ever e30 sat on these lovelies - about 15 years ago! It was a lovely 320 coupe in metallic silver. I've since had a red 320 saloon (bottle necks), white 325i Touring (BBS Xspokes) and my current steed, a 325i Touring in Lachs Silver on Alpina reps. However, none of these wheels receive the attention that these gorgeous, mysterious ones did back in the day. They teed the car up just perfectly.
As a genuine e30 worshipper, I love to check out every one I see, whether that be online, on the street/road or in mags and books - and I have only ever come across these wheels on one other car.
I've written to Total BMW but got no response. If you recognise these alloys and can offer any info I'd be eternally grateful.
And if you don't recognise, what do you think?

Well, I've never seen them before, but they look great! :D Especially if you're going for an OE/Retro look.

A rare factory option?
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...

Thanks guys - I knew you would come up with the goods!
Guaranteed, there will be a nice set sitting on a totalled 316 in a scrapyard somewhere
Pity these wheels are so rare. IMHO they are right up there with Alpina cotton reel (replicas, LOL) and BBS split rims - and probably more desirable due to the rarity factor. Without doubt, they would be my no one choice of wheel on an e30....and not just 'cos of the personal nostalgia factor.

Sigh......found a rimstock 100+ wheel on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rimstock-100-15-A ... dZViewItem

As you can see, its not the one I'm looking for and nowhere near as nice. Back to the drawing board!
