Hi all

Thought i would share a few photos of my 30

Took her into my bruvs bodyshop (Paintpot) approx 6 weeks ago for stone chips to the front valance, wings etc...

All was looking Ok until we took off the bodykit,,

Not too much of a horror story really but issues that certainly needed addressing, all four jacking points were rotting gently away, front valance
on one side required plating and bottom inner wing needed attention
The front wings were also not that clever at the bottom due to the inner guards not being fitted approx 2 years ago when she last went in for Paint

My other Brother rich then got to work with his welder and made her all right again, old wings came off, new wings stoneguarded and painted

Heres a couple of piccys of my brothers handy work

After further deliberation and wanting to know that all was well under the rest of the bodykit, we decided to strip the rest of the car to be safe rather than sorry, that all done, i decided to have her all resprayed, so out came the windows, new sunroof sought including new seals.

Once all was prepped and flat, on went the wet stuff, 6 coats of paint,, and
4 coats of laquer,, Hand flatted and polished to high heaven,

Here are a couple of pics next to my bruvs Richards 30,

I've seen this car up close and it looks like it's almost brand new! It had fresh paint already I thought...

Hi Guys

Thanks for kind remarks,

You are right toby, has had fresh paint not long ago, but had a bentley rash problem that i wasn,t happy with,

Was only going in for the front end to be done,,, but decided to use my brothers talents, to do it all again,,,
didn't really need it but thought why not....

As requested

Engine Bay

Got stacks more but imageshack keeps booting me out,,,

The Big Turbo Conversion was all done by the Doctor ( Ant ) and is absolutely frightening winkeye

Any way thanks again for looking,,,

Ant ,,,,, Paintpot is pretty busy at the mo,, bit like yourself, but well worth waiting for,,
send him a PM you never know he may be able to fit you in,,,

Thanks

Envy is a really unpleasant sensation but luckily the beauty of that car (especailly the under bonnet goodness) soothes the agony!

Once again, excellent chariot sir :thumb:
