ok guys i am in the prosses of colour coding my hardtop so here is a little break down of the stages

All that green stuff. i think was the glue mixed with condensation was very hard to get off used truck wash and a blade in the end

and just bought a J plate 318 convertible,its got a 2.5 lump,and its maritaus blue.

What do you do about the small holes that hold the strip along each side on the top.

Do you fill them, or do you put the strip back on once it's colour coded?

In the last pic you can still see them along the top on both sides.

Hex screws, to mount winch brackets.

Whats a rough cost of doing this work from a good bodyshop?.
How much time have you put into it?.
Is it worth doing some of the donkey work first stripping etc.
