I might pop down in my E30, with my customer/colleague in the E24 we just bought in Glasgow if no-one minds?
We'll be heading down the M40 so is anyone meeting south of Oxford on the way down? If so at what time?

A scotch E24 , he's brave !
Just a quick question for those who may know. I take it that the car park will be in public use on sunday so wont getting all the E30's together for display and photographic purposes be a bit of a problem? I dont want to throw a spanner in the works at such a late stage but are we going to end up with a load of E30's randomly scattered everywhere?

The intention is that we'll be able to get as many together as possible, and fill the gaps as people leave.bss325i wrote:Just a quick question for those who may know. The hope is that we don't have TOO many of the great unwashed in the carpark, but unfortunately the schools are inconveniently on half term at the moment, so lets just hope that people find things to do with their little darlings apart from taking them there...
But in answer to your question, no, there is no pre-arranged parking.
Fingers crossed the carpark will not be too popular, bearing in mind the works on it, hopefully people will think it's still shut or being worked on.

My thoughts exactly , Spoke to a work collegue whos local to there and he said as mentioned the carpark is ok BUT you will doubtfully get everyone together tbh and will probably be mayhem , Shame really this wasnt in a bigger area as i know locations have been changed and its been doubtful where its gonna be till recent , Have a good one guys , Im not gonna be able to make this one eitherbss325i wrote:Just a quick question for those who may know. Pics guaranteed, weather not...
Hopefully everyone else on the list will turn up, so far only one person ON the list now not coming.
So fingers crossed for an excellent turnout and a great meet.
(Yes Steve, I know that's a thumb not crossed fingers...
)
It'll be your loss Steve, and Stu, Ant and Oguz...

I hope not as this is not that bigger deal that we may not all be together. I'm still going for sure.Gortour wrote:Aw, everyone's backing out...

there are no works going on in the carpark as i said it's been done finished gone! It does get busy up there, but i'll scan my brains for somewhere we can go. It will be empty up by bracknell GB thats a given as it's in an industrial estate.

If memory serves me correct, im sure there was another car park at V water on the A329 Blacknest Road. A few hundred yards away!
Im at work so cant use Google earth anyone want to take a look?. It is a smaller car park but not on the A30 so less used.

Still have not got my car back from painter. He said i can pick it up on friday 28th ( heard that before). If i get it i will try hard to put it back together & join you all. Fingers crossed. If i cant make it i hope you all have a great time.
Be nice to see you if you can make it Wayne.
Si, if there's sufficient space for us all around BMW Bracknell, maybe do a drivepast, stop long enough to take a pic, and move on again, even if back to the same carpark, or to Tannerman's carpark for a few more photos and a beer.
Cheers again for your help with the meet. Much appreciated.

(inserts plum in mouth) Yes, I concur. That sort of behaviour just isn't tolerated in Surrey.Simon13 wrote:Sorry i can't help more but this area isn't the sort of area with large car parks or places we can gather!

Hey I was right there is another car park on the A329 its on the west side of the lake, may be a bit less weekend traffic in this one and a pub in walking distance. Look at it on google earth. follow the lake around to the west, its a dirt car park
. Not sure if there is a charge gate ( probably as its owned by the queen!). The A329 is a lovely road from Ascot to hear nice and twisty if you dont get stuck behind a toff in their 4x4!
