You should pay whatever you feel is necessary. Supply and demand. Set yourself a limit and stick with it. Depends on if you can wait for the wheels at the right price or if you deperately need them.

Nah, a lot have the 7" width all round. £300 does feel about right.

Hopefully they will keep their value too, seeing as they are straight (i.e not buckled) and are not burger king specials...
£300 for a set of 7's is about right but make sure they aren't buckled otherwise they are worthless and unrepairable.

Pretty sure the valve should be behind the centre cap,one of the spokes is hollow, could be wrong but i would double check, caps look original the cap removal plug looks right

Thanks for the input guys. If they are real shoudl "alpina" be cast into the? along with serial numbers? Also should the centre caps have the same sort of ID. Cheers.

Thanks. Would that be pretty certain proof of authenticity or do you get fakes which have that too?

A genuine 16" Alpina wheel.
Lip on rim, external valve and "ALPINA" in raised lettering behind the centre cap.
Hope the ones you have bought aren't buckled.

Cool, he took loads of pics for me so im 100% they are pukka. As for buckling...he assured me they arnt and they have been on his car and are all in balance. In fairness he seems genuine and has been straight as you can ask for. Guess we'll see....

Just been looking at new tyres (id want to replace for peace of mind regardless of whats on there) anyway....ive found some ditch finders for under £32!!! how much fun would they be in the wet
If they turn out not to be buckled when the turn up you got a bargain!

ive done twisty stuff, A roads and a motorway blast....not a hint of wobble at any speed
im well chuffed
