When I get my re-trimmed seats back, I want to do my best to keep them as clean as possible for as long as possible.
Does anyone know if there are any potential issues using Scotchgard - or some similar fabric protector - on Alcantara?

Scotch gard is only for fabric ie carpets and cloth seats, will not stay on leather. There are leather protector's like gard x but you are better off cleaning and moisturising evrey 3 months.

alcantara isnt leather though its imatation suede. so in theory scotch guard should work.

Probably best to ask Mr Trimmer-Man when I collect the seats, innit?
