HID Kit's (as featured in Total BMW) £65 until end Mar 08
Moderator: martauto
New stock is coming in on Monday. We are extending this offer in to March as it has been so popular. We can now also supply matching LED sidelights for £5.

I'll definitely get a set of 4300 ones (Whichever set were in TotalBMW this month anyway, The difference is crazy!!!)
Also comes strongly recomended by Feens, lol.
I'm abit short of cash at the moment, buying loads of stuff the last 2 weeks, lol.
But I'll get in touch with you in a few weeks.
I'll be interested in the led sidelights too.
They'll go great with a set of Smoked "Bosch" headlights

What are people's feedback from these kits like so far? And I saw the question about them being plug and play - is there any actual splicing of wiring involved, or just plugging multiplugs together and stuff? I'm sure I've seen guides up on the zone before, I'm assuming it's the same as those kits?
And finally, why are they so cheap? If I pay for more expensive ones will they be any better or am I just being ripped off?
Cheers,
Ian

there's an article in totalBMW this month. Shows the before and after pics of the lighting they provide(actuall light on the road, not just a pic of how nice your light look from the front of the car) how to fit them too. The hardests part would be opening the screws that hold on the lights.

Ian, these HIDs are pretty good, not bad for the money at all. I bought a set of 6000k - visibility has increased significantly, when looking at the headlight itself the light is pure white, but it reflects off other cars with a hint of blue.
As for the fitting, it is dead simple, completely plug and play apart from drilling one hole in the rear casing of each headlight - which is relatively simple itself. The guide that comes with the kit is useless, can barely understand the grammar! I found the zone guide much more concise - http://e30zone.net/modules.php?name=For ... ic&t=61342.
Can't go wrong at the price really, with a 2 year warranty, and if you ever feel to remove them it will take the best part of 5 minutes.
Thanks to Sal/Imran.

The reason you are getting them so cheap is that we buy them in big quantities. This offer is our trade price to resellers.Firefly2005 wrote:What are people's feedback from these kits like so far? They are the same kits as tested by Nick in this months Total BMW if you want to see more of them.
Instructions have been rewritten as they were poor and will go into print soon but they are pretty straight forward to fit.
Ajay - thanks for the feedback.
Yes - we are extending it until end of this month.
The requests for these kits have disapeared in the thread so I'm going to make a list in the first post. Please put your name and colour requirement and I'll update the post with your names and when payment is taken. All our stock of 4300k has gone out to people who prepaid so Sheps yours is going out today. Our new stock of 4300k is coming in this Friday. We have plenty of 6k, 8k and 10k in stock.
1. Oze30 4.3k
2. DaveM3 4.3k

Our trade customers keep taking our stock so we can't keep up with retail orders so if you want a kit before the offer runs out at the end of this month please call us to pre order your kits.
We are receving our orders on a weekly basis so you should have have to wait more than a week for them. We are trying to get to the stage where we have them in stock all the time but they are proving to be a bit popular!

Those of you who pre ordered in the last week or so, your kits are going out tomorrow. Right now we have 6k and 10k in stock.
We are out of 4.3k again so if you would like some I suggest that you call us up and preorder them as they seem to be popular amongst zoners. Our next shipment is due at the end of next week - customs permitting! They held on to this one for over a week.
We also have plenty of LED sidelights to go with the HID's for an additional £5.

Does pay-pal suit ye, Imran?
I'd like to know a rough idea of total cost of sending the 4300K with LED sidelights to ireland too, if it wasn't too much hassle
Broke at the moment because of of un-foreseen stuff but hopefully I'll be able to still make an order before the offer runs out
Thanks,
Dave
im new to HID's what happens if the bulb goes?
They last much longer than standard bulbs but if they do go you just replace it with another HID bulb. Replacement bulbs are £20.
