Door pockets, the under steering column trim things like that would be nice.

How much would CF door cards set a fella back Arron?
Just totally flat with only a hole for the latch, you know the track type sort of thing, lol
Send me a PM if you like

Exactly what I was thinking of, along with: dash cluster outer surround (the black plastic trim above the dials) Ashtray blanking plate with dial holes, mirror backing plates.

Exterior wise, rear plate trim between rear lights, kidney grills, front splitter to fit a tech 2 bumper.

I'd personally think any interior parts would look better with a satin finish. High gloss would look a little out of place imo.

£120 for all four door cards the two doors and then the rear quarters .

All depends on price of carbon at the time of order but i am sure it will be around that sort of monie

When someone comes forward with the reddies then we will get a more accurate price .

Thanks Arron

Ooooh, Just what I'm after alright winkeye
They look sweet!
Don't be starting any group buys for a month or two on these until I get funds for cosmetic stuff ready, lol

A centre console would br nice too that you could fit switches and things like that like the one that was in the Alfa engined E30 in the car of the month a few weeks ago.
I like the idea of the dash surrounds too 8)

Yeh for sure , it's like everything , you could easily cover your original one with cf wrap and it would look the same , however the items i have and can get are very high quality and the point i am trying to make badly is . . . to make just one would cost way more than its worth however to make 5 - 10 -15 now your talking things i can already get such as cf wings , bonnets , bootlids , spoilers , doorcards , ROOFSKINS 8) are avalable in no time and i can offer them cheap(ish) because the moulds have been made

Hope i have explained it well enough , i confuse myself sometimes .

Yes I have dude

probably no good for a cf layup but brushed alu would work, hecause the plate needs a bend in!

will have to dig them out tho, have a technical drawing somewhere, infact tbh any idiot with a hack saw, a vice and a bench drill could make them.

I can make CF parts too, problem for me is its a hobby and I don't have a heated garage, or a shed withought a roof at the moment now, as aaron cays Cf is expensive and to make one mould or plug takes a severe investment of time and money so if you make 1 part from that mould its a waste of time, if you can make 15 and shift them quick its orth your time.

TBH the lighter an item is the less you weight you can save by making it in Cf anyway and so I just pour resin and let it dry then I wrap the resin shape to give it all the appearence of CF with none of the cost.

I also prefer CF/kevlar mix, its cheaper, stronger and bullet proof which is good for bragging rights.

Unfortunatly I also know that muppet who made the ferrari stretched limo where the mid section was made of 100% CF, pure genius but an absolute pr*ck.

the carbon is only for looks, but I'd rather have it in real carbon than the richbrook self adhesive stuff.

just me being a tart as usual :D

D6dph you can 'wrap' with real CF! Its like laying up the CF in reverse, slap on some super clear resin on the item to be wraped then lay on the CF (cut it like a fabric pattern to get it to fit to shape), then slap on more super clear resin. Then wet sand with 1000 grit then 1500 grit, then polish and cut like you would paint until its clear and smooth and you can see the weave. I don't use the cheapo richbrook shite which is infact not CF at all but plastic laminate shite.

by super clear the best resin to use is the type thats used for surf board repairs. its clearer and less cloudy than the resin you normally use for fibreglass.

Helps I used to kayak and I do surf, I have loads of this stuff hanging about so taught myself how to lay up CF. Its nearly the exact same as GRP. Except when doing it properly you normally vacuum bag but I cheat and use the packing bags they sell in wilkinsons and on tv for packing up clothes and attatch it to your hoover!

Carbon Fibre is the new bling  none of this chromie polishing diamond cut business. Is anything available for other cars, custom parts if say min 10 ordered?

Most CF gurus will do anything provided you pay ShakeyC, CF isn't cheap at the moment, CF/Kevlar is cheaper. AGreen seems to know someone reliable run it by him by PM.

i can get all the above off the shelf so to speak mate threw my buisness i can get some pictures up if you guys want , prices are dependent on time of ordering . but will give you some rough ideas

The bonnets i can get are the same quallity as the ones in the group buy , but cheaper !!! also you can get carbon on top of fiberglass which is even cheaper but you can see the weave from the outside and fiber glass underneath.

yes i can get anything made if there is enough interest so who wants some door cards then
