started to rebuild my head today and noticed that the cam shaft would not rotate by hand when turning the pulley? is this normal ? (head off the car)
got some female torx sockets on order so will have a go with a socket wrench when they arrive?
cheers paul

Turning it by the cam sproket by hand will be hard as f**k mate as you have the resistance of all the valve springs! You will be able to turn it over with a socket and bar.
I take it it arrived ok then??

be careful turning it over by the sprocket nut, you might shear it off.......
the belt is designed to turn the pulley to turn the cam, having the leverage of the radius of the pulley on the actual cam, not the sprocket nut.........
just a thought........
