Royston Autocare in Royston (!) Herts.

I have always had all my BMW's serviced there, their prices are reasonable, and the main man Carl has been on pretty much every BMW course running.

They have always cured every problem I've had, and even problems I didn't know about when my car has been in for service.

01763 236006 I think is the number.

100% Recommended.

Cool.

They know me as Big Dave there, with the Touring!

They are very good.

I'm sure the place Jit recommended is good also.

What work are you having done?

Out of interest, who gave the best price?!

Ah, now you're asking! They've both given me a headache actually. If you read my prop shaft post in the technical help forum you'll see. Any advice would really be appreciated!

I was talking to Carl via the lady who answered the phone so I'm not sure if anything was lost in translation. The final answer was Ԛ£150 to replace the output shaft and selector rod seals. The worrying thing was when I asked "what if" it was the input shaft seal, the answer was that this was a gasket not a seal and that the box would be removed and sent away for repair!

Sounds like it could get expensive!

Be nice to get the car up to scratch though!

If you do use them, I'm sure you won't be dissapointed.
