I just bought a 325,(which im breaking)that has cruise control on.Bonus it works.I really want it on my baur.But can you retro fit one on to a manual? Is it difficult? :?
I had a t16 Saab turbo(manual)with cruise on.Any help and advice would be gratefully recieved.

mines a manual and it has cruise control fitted from bmw. so it can be done somhow :cool:

8)Sound mate.Whats it like on the motorways at 70-80mph?
Now to find out how to fit it.i shouda post this on the tech bit!! :oops:

Manual and Auto cruise systems are exactly the same.

The only difference is that on a manual, you have a clutch switch (there is a jumper wire fitted on the Auto), and you don't need to connect a wire to the shift selector (the wire is left disconnected on the Manual).

You can buy the clutch switch & bracket quite cheaply from the dealer. Just make sure you get the correct parts. They are different on early & late models.
