Basically i need to find an IS ECU to use in my conversion. But ive got a couple of questions.
I take it only the IS ECU will work with the IS, as there not universal things, so say a 325 wouldnt work...
Apart from looking for a second hand one, is there any other way around it? I imagen these are f**king expensive brand new?

Cheers mate.Although i dont think thats going to be good enough. Im doing the 1.8 IS conversion, so i think it might get a bit confused using a 325 one :s
Cheers anyway.
Dan, how much are Emeral systems mate? whats the deal with them.

If you don't want to pressure charge then the baby Emerald is about Ԛ£400+vat I think.
If you do wanna do the supercharger thing, then the M3D costs about Ԛ£750 all in (that's what I paid anyway)

Well at the moment mate id rather try and sort out a very cheap wasy of doing it, then think about the supercharger option once my cars running.
Guess ill have to look around and bust some balls for an ECU out of a breaking IS.

Yeh mate, ill have the loom. Just the ECU was unplugged and taken off.
I just wasnt sure if the connection plug to the ECU was part of the loom or not? (not that clued up on it) or if it was somthing that comes with the ECU itself.
