Well done Trevor, your car is looking brand new, good to see it backB7 wrote:Well I got there in the end. A good meet though f*ckin cold.

And it hasn't been cleaned this year! It's as I pulled it's covers off.oguz327 wrote:Well done Trevor, your car is looking brand new, good to see it backB7 wrote:Well I got there in the end. A good meet though f*ckin cold.

Trev i also stretched my buses legs on the way home. As it was the first time on the motorway since the manifold and system have been fitted it was a bit of a shake down so to speak. Remember on the way to Gaydon last year? An indicated 145 on the way at one point? Well lets just say add another 5 on top indicated @ 6000rpm!B7 wrote:And it hasn't been cleaned this year! I stretched it's legs on the way home and? 110% better. It pulls like a train with naff all hesitaion and now ticks over like a 2 year old. Better turn in and stays reletively flat and feels so myuuch tighter. Well pleased. "It's proper Bo I tell thee!"

Ummmmm, That's naughty! Right then when's the next one? I'm coming. Not in an E30 though.bss325i wrote:An indicated 145 on the way at one point? Well lets just say add another 5 on top indicated @ 6000rpm!

Tristan! Long time no see! Did you get the porsche in the end?tristan325 wrote:Ummmmm, That's naughty! Right then when's the next one? I'm coming. Not in an E30 though.bss325i wrote:An indicated 145 on the way at one point? Well lets just say add another 5 on top indicated @ 6000rpm!

The last time we met i was in my old E46 so i guess you have never seen my E30. Its coming along nicely now as funds permit and all that. Mk2's are my favorite golfs, whats yours like? If you come next mont you'll fit in well what with all the Vdub massive!tristan325 wrote:No sadly not. Redundancy forced me to buy a Saab Aero (Cough) whilst I was working freelance. But I've got another job as a loss assesor (new company hack) so I couldn't resist buying a MK2 GTi off my neighbour and restoring it. It's finally done (well nearly, couple of bits of trim to sort out, but it's on the road!!). SO I'm afraid I'll be in a Golf.
Yours is looking tres nice now, going by your sig.

Yup it was fookin fast, but suffered with horrific torque steer. Truth be told it was a bit of a hedge hunter.Davenotouring wrote:Saab Aero's rock.

Very very nice! My perfect Mk2, a big bumper 16v with BBS. Is it helios blue or black, a bit hard to tell from the pic?tristan325 wrote:Oh you know me Barry. Obviously near mint and standard![]()

Thats lovely tris. I have GOT to get my Muppet of a mate down in his 16v. He's building a 2litre for it as we speak but he's knobing about timewise.bss325i wrote:Very very nice! Just read through this, good work Tristan!tristan325 wrote:Cheers Trev, I've performed an intensive retsoration on it! I bought it as a non runner in a bad way. It had a full respray recently but other than that it was in pretty poor shape. The only thing original to the interior is the carpet!! I turned it round in only 2 weeks!!
