Hi there.
My cab has the following set-up.
JVC Chameleon head unit. Pioneer 13cm 2 way speakers in all 4 existing spaces, the rear ones being more expensive.
I have bought front tweeter pods for the doors (with the old Nokia tweeters) ... and am looking for an answer to the following. Should I ???
A - just buy new tweeters for the pods and wire them into the front speakers using the supplied crossovers. JBL do a pair for about 22 quid.
B - buy a component set, either JBL or Infinity seem to get the thumbs up here. Looking at about 50 quid upwards.
Bearing in mind I am not looking for a fantastic set up with subs and amps (as I can't be arsed with it all) ... will I notice a difference between both options ??
Thanks in advance,
G

G Components allt he way the sound quality and clarity is drasticly imporved
To behonest I have run infinty and JBL and saw better results with infinitys, However for a bit more cash I higly recormend Hertz speakers as i've just wired them up into my cab and they are one of the best speakers I've ever heard the sound quality is brilliant and they are very very good quality.
Here's a link to them online

I'd spend the bit extra and go with these

regarding just using jbl tweeters with crossovers again these would sound alright but i feel the same make is always better and componet speakers are designed to work together tweeter and mid rnage, using tweeters and 2 way speaker upfront may sound very tinny

yep fit in exsisting holes with inline crossovers (so no big boxes to hide, and the tweeters sit nicely in the tweeter pods here's a picGDBN wrote:Cheers dude .. they fit in the existing space? And the crossover box comes with the set ?

Can those Hertz not be fitted without ruining the existing tweeter pods ?
