Hi folks, I'm just wondering what the opinion of the masses might be?

I ordered a sump, dipstick and pickup pipe off an E34 M50, was delivered this morning with cracks across most of the ribs on the baffle, parts of the baffle smashed off, and no pickup pipe.

They didn't seem at all bothered. Only one small broken piece was in the sump, so the damage looks like it was already been done when it left them. Packaging showed no damage.

I've been offered a refund if I return everything to them at my expense, or keep it. "Should be fine to use, the rivets hold it on." - They don't have a stripped engine to give me a pickup pipe and there was no mention of sending one on when they do.

I'll probably get this baffle welded secure and buy a pickup pipe from ZimmerBimmer, but was wondering if others had similar enthusiasm from Quarry or if I was just unlucky and should consider using them in the future?
...or is it?

Used them once. Wanted a starter for a 2.5 that i could take the pinion out of to put in my 318is. They were quite helpful and let me rummage through one of their containers filled with miscellaneous starters. I came out with the treasure i was after and charged me £15 which i thought was good.

I ordered an M52B28 block from them, but received a B23 - doh. They did send me out a replacement quite quickly.

I have visited them once or twice, the current tailgate and loadcover on the touring came from them. They seemed very busy and keen to take my cash but I would prefer to deal with them face to face....

Used them for my Z3 rack, happily took my money saying they had one in stock and it would be with me a couple of days later. Didn't show up after nearly a week so called them and they said it was damaged so didn't send it but they were trying to source another one but couldn't find one, no call to tell me of this though.

I gave them another week in which time i never heard from them so called them, the reply was then that they had a breaker coming in that aftgernoon wiht a good rack and would have it with me the following day. To my surprise a rack was delivered the next day, a completely refurbished rack that clearly hadn't been on a car  , i wasn't complaining though.

Certainly got the impression once they have your money they're notreally fussed about being overly helpful.
