An E30 doesn't have 80mm of suspension travel, so what are you going to do about suspension? :?:

It will drop 80mm, but the front shocks will be fully compressed and the top mounts banging against the top damper collar. You cannot imagine how bad it will drive - you may as well remove the springs and just weld the dampers up. There isn't even room for a bump stop. 60mm is too low, 35mm is plenty. 80mm is just stupid.

I can't believe that's 80mm either. I had 60/40 and that looked lower!

For 80mm should the wheels not be well tucked under the arches?

The front wheel is raised because it is parked on the kerb this may be why it does not look that low

TBH i also think you would have to be mad to drop a car 80mm on just springs :? Whats the point probally be a more comfy ride if you were to remove the tyres and run on just the rims .

Remember the car is striped out wich will take the height up a bit.
But heres the reshell too, With the same subframes and suspension.
Bear in mind the early shell has the rear arches colser to the bottom of the rear window.

Even though its on the kerb, surely the rear wheel would be sitting further in the arch would it not?

That's no more than 40mm. With 80 mm (over three inches!) the thing would be on its arse.

I dont see the point of dropping an E30 80mm... Is it to let it look like an old Citroen with hydraulics suspension parked in the street?

And my tech 2 is also 80 all round.

Looks 55max at the front. got to agree, if it was 80mm then it would be ridiculously low.

60mm is the most, 80mm is alright for a sunday car or for show purposes, the car in my sig which had the lowering done by the previous owner is over 80mm though nearer to 100 and bottoms out over drains and little pebbles, you can even feel the lumps that freshly painted road markings have
