Hi,
i think there is two types of bracket for the cruise control actuator,
for early and late models, can anyone post some pics up of the actuator mounted in their car please?
does it mount to air box? or inner wing? is it the same mounting place for early and late models?
Thanks Matt.

I'm pretty sure the early models had it mounted on the inner wing, that's where it mounts on the M3 anyway, later cars had it mounted to the airbox, if you're car is an early one (which I think it is) the mounting plate should already be in place on the inner wing, a kind of traingular shape, with 3 studs protruding from it.A1BMW325iSport wrote:Hi,

no there is nothing on my car, i know what your on about, as i have seen the M3 ones, but my cruise kit came from an 88 325i
my car is an 86 325i and all i can think is it mounts on the airbox,
as all 325i airboxes are the same.

Did the cruise kit you buy come with the triangular mounting plate? It should have if it came from a 88 on car.
