Logic is the proof. The diff is solid mounted to the beam so if beam diff mounts will not twist the diff will not rip of the rear mount. It is so simple that I don't understand why so many people is reinforcing rear mount. In E36 you can't find any carriers being destroyed only because it is mounted to the subframe on the back as well. And is twisting with the whole subframe. Check the problems with subframe bushes in E36. That is because of diff.oldroydsr4 wrote:I don't really agree, also the beam can be reinforced aswell with out much bother, i.e weld a thicker plate where it bolts, same as james3320 has done with his m50 turbo.no point as even if you do use the e36 diff cover it can still pull away as the beam is the ONLY rear Stabilsing bar at the rear best thi would to be develop some anti tramp device from hard launches
Any how the proof is in the pudding and i can't find any links of e36 carries being distroyed
