Ok guys
Car is 1988 M3 Evo II
I have a blaupunk Memphis MP66 Head unit with 40GB hard drive
This is 4 x 50 W / 4 x 26 RMS
I want to fit 4 new speakers to the car as the old ones are a bit dated and not working.
I am guessing all 4 speakers are stock 5.25/13 cm in size
Without breaking the bank what speakers would you guys pair up with this head unit without using a amplifier
I have seen quite a few different makes of speaker going from £15 a pair to £25-30 pair, I need 2 pairs so can anyone recommend anything JBL/Alpine/pioneer/blaupunkt/Clarion/Kenwood/Infinity??? or whatever if they are decent
I want too keep stock shelf and mount speakers under shelf and behind footwell covers so no cutting im guessing 5/25 all round
Or Also would i gain anything by trying to fit 6x9,s into the rear again without cutting anything and not on shelf but under is this possible or waste of time?? And if the head unit is capable of powering any 6x9's??
Need advice there are no sounds in my car.

i never thought 6x9s looked good in the parcel shelf but my new car has them fitted and the sound quality makes up for the looks they sound awsome because the boot acts like a big sealed box behind them giving great bass you will have to cut throught the metal to fit them or do it properly and use some mdf rings to raise them
then get a good set of comps for the front and your laughing
