Hi all.
I Have the 2.5 m20 engine, fully rebuilt to original power, not bored out in any way, it has a shrick cam, lightened balanced flywheel, catch tank breather system, stainless exhaust and induction kit. looking at spending around £400 on a proffesional re map, does anyone know what gains i can expect from this or is it like asking how longs a piece of string? cheers.
what can I expect from a remap?

When you had the cam fitted was it not remapped then?
If not a remap now will see you with a fair wedge more power and a much nicer drive

or you fit a MAXX Alpha-N piggy back and get rid of the Airflowmeter and map all yourself!

I suspect you would see more of a gain from a remap once you have junked the AFM in favour of the system mentioned by Uwe..
Uwe, is the Alpha system applicable to those of us with the L-Jetronic system?

But I know for sure that MAXX himself is running a 320 tourer for ages with the AFM deleted. Will also fit 325 of course.
