m20 engine help!!!

if i have a 320i se can i get a m20 325i lump and just throw it in as a direct replacement or do i have 2 change any thing else?

If you can get hold of the engine complete it would be better.

The inlet manifold is different, air flow meter, gearbox, diff, propshaft, ecu....etc

Best if you can get most of the bits.

would it be allot easyer 2 get another 320, then its just 1 in 1 out init?

what would happen if u just dumped a 325i lump and ecu an every thin else, bar the prop n diff?

put the 2.5 engine on the 2.0 box and you wont have to change the prop
Got cable ties? Get diffin..

cos the 320 has a shorter diff.... not sure bout the gbox though

im pretty sure its the g.box that is shorter..
Got cable ties? Get diffin..

yeh and small case diff too.....4.1 i think

but yeh.... 325 front section is shorter then....
