Surely shouldn't be that difficult especailly as you have the whole car. 323i's arn't montronic though are they?
Would it be better to try and source a 325 engine though? But that means buying more things....

yeah its jetronic but far too good to waste and as my other delphins likely to turn 3litre im happy for this 1 to be a 323 and it helps clear my drive in the process so sorted and i end up the happy owner of mad twins and they are totally identical incl wheels wooohooo

like u say cnt b that hard as i have the full car untouched as yet

come on lads advice needed want to get this done quick cheers all Daz :D

You have got to be Joking
CAn't be that difficult - just need the ECU (does it have one?) and wiring from the 323 to make it run etc just park them side by side and swap it over. Could do with the brakes upgrading, and the diff may give silly acceleration, or be very economical I can't decide.

What 3ltr are you going to use?

OK Yorkshire E30 domination is good, isn't the 530 a V8....................... Feckin awesome if it is, I was thinking of this the otherday when some one on here said they had bought one. You need to shift a car to make room for it! See if anyone needs a 323 engine first - you should be able to get some cash for it, cos for the effort the 325 upgrade will just be plug and play, and I've got a chip you can put in your 320 ecu tho make it think it's a 325.

The 323 is so slow, even modified and with a 4.1 differential (although the 316 might have a 4.45 or 4.27?). You have to try for a 2.5.
