E30 M3 Radio wiring help.

Hi all

Bought a E30 M3 with no radio in it and some wires are just in the hole taped up.

Does anyone know what colour wire/wires is live/neutral/constant live etc please. There are aftermarket speaker wires in there green/grey i know these ones but not sure of other colours to wire up.

Also if there are any other wires i need incase some have slipped down inside the dashboard,

If i can identify them i will install my blaupunk tommorow

My car was different to the advice that was given to me.

Best way to check is with a multimeter or just a bulb.

to further confuse things, if the car came with the factory fitted premium sound system with the fader switch on the dash, this has probably been rewired and bypassed as it's not needed on virtually any aftermarket sereo. so the wires might not exactly match what you may expect to find

Cheeres guys i will have a look tommorow and see if there is any loom left under my dashboard if not i will use a multimeter and study my wiring loom and see what my options are. I went to maplins today and bought a few things to repair the damage that some cowboy has left.

Also can i ask

The speakers in the front footwell and rear parcel shelf are they 5.25/ 13cm ???? I also need to change these they are looking a bit nakkererd. and they are not stock size by looks of them.
