Hi,
I did a search and did not come up with much. What I am looking for is some tips and advice on how to install the kit on the plastic modeled bumpered cars
TIA

DemonDAZ has the bumper on his car, maybe he can shed some light on it. What exactly are you looking for info wise?
Afaik it should bolt/screw on, you need to cut the side bits of your existing bumpers then fit the bumpers to the existing one. Dunno about the sideskirts, just screw in I would imagine.

I have a customer that we are doing the Rieger e46 kit and what he did is take the plastic bumper off and facia and my body guy is fitting it directly to the fiberglass bumper. I noticed that when I tried to fit the AV3 on his car that it was about 3/4" to short of fitting flush with the back of the facia, in order to make it look right it looks as though I would have to drill the shocks in order to get it pushed back far enough. I have another option another customer wants to buy my Av3 kit and another one (not the one above) wants to sell me his Reiger e46 kit so I am not sure what I want to do.
TIA

That is what my e30 323i is for classic.
M Tech are nearly imposible to find statesides. No one will ship a kockoff to me as well.
I have an upholstery business on the side and I wanted to be something more like eye candy. I plan to leather everything exept the dash, leather alcantra the Recaro SRD copy race seats basically leather and alcantara the whole interior. Doing the s52 motor swap and run 16x9's Borbets or CR7's. No monitors or anything loud but something that is very clean. What ever kit I do I will 86 the sides and I plan to make plain abs sideskirts so the lines flow from front to back.

ps if someone has a REAL Breyton kit, I would go that route but I have not found one in the states.

Surely someone must have fitted this to a plastic bumper version...
I have pm'd euro, but if there is the problem with the shocks being too big, has anyone got a picture of the mounts/ shocks for the bumper?
I'll see if I can work out how it would fit.
Euro, can you take a picture of it, and how the AV3 looks when fitted?

not sure what you mean by these shocks? is this the bumper shocks?
for the 'plastic' bumper cars the generally used fitting method is to cut the bumpers either side of the shocks and bond the av3 kit to what's left of the bumper. the sides of the bumpers are bonded to the slidey clippy bits that hold the sides of the factory bumpers. that's why you have to be careful not to let the front bumper point skywards - it needs bracing level while the bonding agent sets.
had a look at your upholstery website - the products look quality. if i was over there i'd be seriously tempted by one of your carpets and a matset for sure.

p.s. your signature text is quality, it's made me grin inanely. mixing singular and plural in the one sentance:- "is the major keys" !!!! i can't work out whether it's deliberate or not - very subtle if it is.

Subtle tone................... I had "Product quality and consistency is the keys to success" This makes you think a bit.....................: ^ ). I was referring to the front shocks.
