I'm currently building a e30 trackcar and have stripped the old rear beam off, however i don't think the bushes have ever been replaced and the top of the aluminium sleeve has sheered off in the shell (see pic)

I wish people looked after there cars a little better :cry:

Have any body got any advise.

hi mate the only way to to do it is pull washer off with a heal bar and drill the bush out of the shell you will need to drill it 2 or 3 times in different places b4 it breaks up , or if you have access to air hammer that also works

They always do that. you need to get a dremel or something with one of those tungsten bits and cut it away in a line so the o shape becomes a c. Its a lot weaker now. Stick a screwdriver in and whack at it a bit snd you'll get it out. Not too difficult really. Just use copper grease when you put it together again.
