You boys were certainly taking here for a proper trial then dude,1an wrote:Gary, Suspension whise its running spax shocks and springs, but due to using an alloy block etc its alot lighter than an m20 are weighs almost the same as an m40 when fully dressed so we are going to try some m40 spax lowering springs,
it also has a full powerflex bush kit and H&R roll bars, but breaks need to be sorted asap thats forsure.

i bet the tyres were squeeling like a banshee.
believe me when i say that there are a enormous number of people with very quick cars, whether they be toys or there dream cars that will not push there cars to its true potential or limit, for fear of there driving ability, and of binning there motor, i know this from experiance of a few of my freinds, well done for showing the driver of the Atom that corners can be taken at speed and engines are there to be thrashed and tested.
Keep us posted.

I believe its "off the shelf" from Fritz Bitz although in reality they are probably made to order.mikekean wrote:so is it a custom manifold or an off the shelf item?
does look the business though. wouldn't mind a conversion like that.

Combined with H&R springs, poly bushes and the Bilstein dampers it was a FANTASTIC car to drive. Inspired so much confidence. It was justa way too underpowered. Poor little 1.8. I doubt yours will have that problem!

Simple reason, it's not 1ans car ! As said I left it in Ants capable hands with a budget to achieve what I wanted. This he did as said above.Jhonno wrote:so why didnt it go to Hayward and Scott for one of their magical manifolds you're always loving up 1an?
