Sorry again for being a bore, will def be at the next one :)

Re: Oil starvation very common on the 6 pots, well worth a baffle of windage tray going on there, also a pressure/temp gauge
Is it worth having a baffle AND a windage tray or just one or the other?

Understand you let Dave know that the Exxon Valdez was playing up!

Did you find a boozer?

What size bore is your exhaust nige? I bought a £7 baffle from Demon Tweeks that cut mine from 103 to 98db.

You can borrow it if you've got a 3in bore.

Jimmy beat me to it.
Are you going to rebuild the 2.5 or go for a 2.7, if your only going to use the car for track days you mite want to think about a 2.8.
But if you want to come racing with us some time you can only have 1.8 2.0 for PBMW or TTRS 1.8 2.0 2.5 (2.5e 2700) for PRE 93 and TTRS.
TTRS is the one most of us have joined, its less cash more track time winkeye
On TOYO'S best time's so far =320 59's at Brands, my 327 dose 56's thats only .04 of a sec slower than a race E30 M3 with 240 bhp.
Hope this helps

If your looking at racing your car it definately suits TTRS, to de spec it to PBMW would be alot of work

And if your looking to race in 2008, your going to be lucky to get a grid slot in PBMW as the whole season is provisionally sold, and we are starting with a full 42 car grid at Combe!

TTRS will be easier to get a grid slot although I believe they have full grids for Combe too

Guys thanks for all your helpful tips
I'm going to rebuild the bottom end as standard and put a completely new exhaust system in - I'd be happy with just a bit more power and good realiability since this is only a track day car at present!!! maybe a racer next year

that was only my second day on a track so best do a bit of walking before I try and run!!!

PS jimmy please can you PM me Nigels number for the windage tray
