Any Ideas ??

I was driving to work this morning doing about 40 in 4th when my 318 started to become very hesitant. I put my foot down and it seemed to go away a bit. Came up to a junction and it sat idling fine. But when I hit about 40 it started playing up again.. Injectors, Fuel pump ??Help !!

Oh forgot to mention I have half a tank of shells finest...

does it only happen under full throttle conditions? or does it hesitate at alight constant throttle?

may be a split in one of the air pipes-give them a good check (all round

)

can you describe the hesitating better?

I was pottering along a a steady 40 but it started to pull up as if it was running out of juice.. i put my foot down and It seemed to clear it, then I began to plod at 40 again it re appeared.. I going to take it for a blast down the motorway at mid day just to see if it's full of sh*t in the fuel lines..

If I dont reply by 1.30 then I'm sat in the sun on the M27 crying !!!!!

has the car recently been ran to almost empty?

I'd try cleaning the fuel filter out and also checking the ar filter etc

all seems ok... Took it for a blat then a potter around and all seems ok... I'll just see how it goes. It could've been the fact that my missus was the last one to drive it till this morn so it was probably a little upset by that !!!!!!!!

Having sorted that one, now my drivers door lock is jammed in the lock position with the button up !! Central locking has also just stopped.

Anyone wanna a lovely 318 ???
