Did any M52 2.8 engines have all alloy cover over the cam sprockets (like the M50), rather than black plastic?
Car is a '95 328i, but is the engine?

Yes, ive had a couple with the alloy cover Brian, only on the early versions

Thanks, Dan. I was worried that someone might have stuck a M50 in there as a cheap replacement!
