I have arranged a group buy for Stainless brake hose kits from ASPerformance a company I have used many times before and highly recommend.

These are Goodrige hose kit and are being offered with a discount of 35-40% in the Group buy

The kit being offered is with stainless steel connections

Std E30 kit is a 4 line kit RRP is £69.33inc. Group Buy price is £45inc. Delivered

ABS E30 kit is 6 line kit RRP is £103.99inc. Group Buy price is £65inc. Delivered

All kits come with a clear protective coating on the hoses, but can be coloured for £4inc. extra per kit.

To get these prices we need to get 12 to 15 people in the Group Buy which I'm sure can be done.

To place order contact Alyn at ASP direct on 0191 410 3770 www.asperformance.com
Quoting this Group Buy and they will take payment and delivery details from you.

Group Buy will run until 8th March

I'll ring when theres 10 names then, I can get them for slightly more and not painted right away, but would rather have them in white. And I'm not doing the work until at least April anyway.

http://www.xlraceparts.com/index.asp?fu ... rymethod=2

how about this????

by the way. adjusting the pad to disc clearence via the piston does help out with the feel of the brakes. (swapped 3 month old disc which were warped but with pretty much full meat with new units which were obviously that little bit thicker and i didnt bother pushing the piston back as the caliper just about slid on and i can honestly say there is a dramatic improvement in brake pedal feel. so some may wanna try the free option first? see if they are content with that alone?)

Was just looking for a set of these.....

www.xlraceparts.com - you need to reset the quantity to 1.
maggspower wrote:it still works out at £62 with vat + delivery
Not being funny, but its £61.10 delivered (ABS kit) from xlraceparts and thats not a group buy price, surely ASP can do better for a group buy??

but the best bit with these ones are the stainless connections, which is why im puting my name down :)
Are these different from the link above?

Nope Im still getting £61.10 all in. £42 + £10 (delivery) + £9.10 VAT = £61.10.

Im using Firefox, but Ive just tried it with IE and for some reason it didnt add the delivery, but once added its still £61.10.

The XL Raceparts price is for a 4-line kit with zinc-plated connections. Their website is slightly borked and is not updating the price when you change to a 6-line kit.
This is a very good deal - we're getting a 6-line kit with stainless terminations, delivered, for the money that would normally just get a plated kit without delivery.

These Brake lines are the FULL STAINLESS version including fittings not the normal zinc coated ones

The group buy is due to run until 8th March

sorry i may have caused some confusion what i meant was £62 including vat and delivery, my bad. But the thing is these have stainless ends, these are normaly £4 extra per fitting over the normal zinc coated ones, so with 12 ends to put fittings on that is an extra £48 which is why these lines are so expensive to start with.

£65 delivered is an amazing price, and im still in :)

I dont realy see the point of pulling out, to save £3 and get inferior quality lines

That is unless you are in a major rush and its the only thing that you need to get it on the road.

I would imagine setting up another group buy from XL raceparts would result in a simular price, and as RobCallow has already put the wheels in motion and I only need to be able to spell my name, and put it in the right box!!!!

Oh and cheers Rob for sorting this dude :)

sorry to be thick, but just incase i am not understanding right, but this is the full set of brake lines i.e every pipe you need and all connections? (paid about £25 for home made ones before, but 5 hours labour on top!!) so i could get this kit fitted and never need to fit lines again?

I might be interested in a set too. I'm guessing delivery to Ireland would be abit extra?

Will this be still open to people until the 8th of March as stated in the first post since I need to make sure I have the money  ??? Need to decide do I really want to put in ABS into the iS or not.
Might get both sets and I can use the 4 line for the track car
