West side! I used to live off the Oxford Road! propa ghetto now though!

Basically am planning on getting my e30 to as near showroom condition as cheaply as possible and for those of you who have been inthe e30 world for ages I would appreciate your help. I have beige leathers and door cards that have seen better days and wanted to either get the colour changed to an off white or a lighter shade of beige. I also need a centre console and to know how to fit it as the previous numpty owner yanked one side of it to connect up a subwoofer which he didnt include inthe sale. I'd also like to get the boot re-carpeted as the clips have been broken and bits are dangling and looks tacky. Also a DIY engine clean would be great because I aint paying 95 quid for a showroom clean  so far I have spent 2 hours on sunday cleaning it!

It is made up of guys who help each other out, but not for nothing! If you were prepared to take your car to someone I'm sure they would be more than happy to help out, but parts are not cheap or free, neither is knowledge or time.
To suggest that someone comes to you for a tenner, is no way to ask for assistance, rather an insult. Would you travel for any substantial distance for someone you never met for peanuts?
I think most guys on here would be prepared to help anyone, but to suggest someone's time, effort and knowledge is worth a tenner ain't gonna win you no prizes.

Why not try to get to one of the "meets", Guildford isn't to far from you. There will be lots of people more than happy to give you advice, and lots of cars to draw inspiration etc :D
