But get it lightened while it's out, Temple30 (?) will sort you out

Only if the face is scored.

If your clutch is slipping with a standard 2.5 it's time for a new one. My clutch has only started slipping with my 2.7 recently and then only with 50bhp of nitrous.

If you do need your flywheel refacing, I've got the facility to re-grind it at work

I can also do a lightened fly at the same time, although it'd take a week or so to get it machined and balanced.

it will slowly get worse until it becomes undriveable but as a time scale who knows. it could go tomorrow or it could last months.

cheers everyone, how is a clutch change on a 325, is it a axle stands on the drive job or is a ramp better

consider a ramp as you do not want to have the gearbox on your chest which will make the job a lot harder.

ive done it before with a mate in a tight garage with the car 2 foot of the floor and a foot each side of the car, it took a while, a fair bit of upper body strenth, but we got it done. do in in pairs if your gonna do it on ur driveway.
