The M50 lump is going into my touring turd, or will be shortly.

So that I have an idea on what parts I need to gather, is the M40 rad which was in the car any good to retain or should I look at an E34 M50 rad or similar? What have others used?

M40 M42 or M50/M52 E36 would be the weapons of choice E34 can be persuaded to fit but NRQ in all honesty

the E36 rads require the use of 2 offside lower mounting cups, but otherwise drop straight in.

the iS has an oddball NS mount so get that if you go this route.

Ive used the iS rad, seems ok (ish) on mine. Just make sure your hoses arnt kinked/twisted in any way, makes a big difference!
Gaffa tape is like "the force" - it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
There's nothing that shouts "Poor Workmanship" more than wrinkles in the Gaffer tap
