Dear All,
Just about to refurb my BBS in the OE colour with a polished lip.
Wanted to paint the calipers while the alloys were off.
Its a Dolphin Grey Sport, what colour do you suggest?

2 votes for black
Would red be OTT, my car is very subtle apart from the Scorpion exhaust!
Want something jsut a lil noticeable, or is it best not to?

a lot of new calipers have a goldish finish, a 1:1 mix of gold and silver should be pretty close.
i'd just do them a nice gloss black though.

Massive difference once the pads warm up, just need to uprate the rear set now
I'll find out for sure when she's on the track again, the standard brakes were best part shot after 3/4 laps. Not ideal

Ahhh, you track the car.
Tbh, i neither have the skill or courage to do such a thing, not in my car, never!!!
Im more a public road user of my vehicle, and do feel i lack punch, due to change pads, as my wear sensor has informed me, so instead of EBC greens, may go for Mintex xtreme!?
I do like 4 pots, but cant justify the cost for the style of my driving i dont think

Oh yes i completely agree, i.e. i very rarely drive faster than the speed limit, however the rare instance i like to accelerate; I like to know i have the power to stop!
I feel at the mo, my EBCs are letting me down a bit!
But for public road use, 4 pot calipers are really a bit too much no?

if you rarely break the speed limit and dont drive it hard id say 4 pots are a bit excessive for anything other than for show.ian332isport wrote:Nosiddiqi1 wrote:4 pot calipers are really a bit too much no?
