Depends on drop, but arches will definately need to be rolled.

My Borbet T's (9x16 all round) are on without spacers. Apparently the previous owner made a dent in the outer shocker casing (where the wheel would've cought) and has made enough clearance for the wheels to go on without spacers.

I'm going to be changing my wheels over today (hopefully) to get my borbets cleaned up and will try and get some pics taken (if i remember).

My brother has Borbet A's on his cab, and that does have spacers, and rides like a dog, so the choice is yours whether you want to risk the dent or have a shite ride :?

No fender rolling needed.. I have 9x16 et 15 borbet A's on my cab with Eiback pro's. No rubbing or scraping. And Im sure my cab sits lower than your touring. If you want to get spacers, get 5 mm in front to clear struts and 10mm in the rear to even out the trac.. Even then you shouldn't have roll fenders..

My touring doesn't catch as i have no spacers and i'm pretty sure my rear is only a 45mm drop.

My bro's cab had 60mm all round and you couldn't get more than 2 people in the car!

He's now on 40mm and still catches with 2 in the back.

The dent on the shocker casing wasn't that big. I've got a pic uploading, it's not great, but shows it. Basicly just knock it in a bit where the wheel scrapes.

not great, but gives you an idea of how small the dent needs to be.

The springs on your car are a Apex 60mm drop as they used to be on my touring before Player6 put them on there.

I have 9x16's et15 on my IS and they went straight on without spacers or a 'dent'.

I think they've been changed at some point as i can see from the rear tyres (due to the wear on the side wall) that the arch did used to catch at some point, but they're now clear enough, and enough room to fit my fingers in!

That and the fact my rear can't be a 60mm drop...just not low enough, i think my front is 60mm but not the rear.

The rear tyres have wear on the side wall due to the car carrying alot of weight for one long journey (therefore touching the arch). Unless you have changed them they should still all be yellow apex springs. They are the 60mm drop springs for the touring and the convertible. My IS is lowered 60mm and I can still get my fingers in the arch.

Have you got the same springs on your IS?

Why is my bro's cab so much lower than my touring? Both had 60mm drop, and his wheel (borbet A) was nearly under the arch :?

He's now gone to 40 or 45mm and his is still low.

My IS has some 60mm drop springs on it but I'm unsure of the brand without checking. I'm unsure of the weight difference between a cab' and a touring but if your bro has fitted springs that are meant for a saloon/coupe his car will definately sit lower than if it had a cab' specific spring kit fitted. I have seen your bro's car and it did look very very low, more than 60 but he was driving along a bumpy uneven road.

His was a cab specific kit complete with shocks and springs.

To be honest he's not happy with that kit, and will probably change. It's fine with 7j wheels but as soon as he puts 9j on the rears catch :(

I wanted to have a look at your IS that day, but we were in a rush to get back so didn't have time. Looks a very nice example.

I seen them today when changing the wheels over.

Do you think something like that would work on my bro's cab? I have one that i can cut in half and make about that same size.

How low do you think mine would go (in terms of wheel/tyre under the arch) if i take them out?

Will it catch on the arch?

I do sometimes have 5 people in the car, and it does get pretty low then!
