Thanks for that E30Mark.

Paul, How do the fuel lines come packed i.e. are they straight sections/rolled in a coil/or preformed? The reason I'm asking is if they are straight/preformed would I be better ordering them at my local dealer so as to avoid damage to them in transit?

Cheers!

Hi Taylor yes the fuel lines come preformed.

You could order them from your local dealer hopefully they may charge the same price as me.

I would wrap them in bubble wrap to avoid damage in transit.

Just started to strip out the fuel tank and all the old lines off the car yesterday and realised that I forgot to order the fuel vent pipe which runs along beside the feed and return lines. Can't see the part listed on realoem.

Is this part available and if so could I have a price please?

Cheers!

sorry for delay my system only lists the pipe for cars with a cat which
your car does not have.

Its not the brake pipe is it?

No it's definately a vent pipe for the fuel tank. It runs alongside the feed and return lines to the front of the car and then there is a flexi hose on the end of it which runs inside the inner wing. It's the same diameter of pipe as the feed and return lines. Hth.

I don't think thats the part I'm looking for. Item 11 looks like the piece of pipe that clips onto the top of the fuel tank. The production dates (1983-1987) on that part don't match up to my car either (1990).

The length is approx 1.8m so if you think it's the right part I'll have one. Just need a price for it. And I'll also need 6 of the plastic clamps that hold it on(they are different from the clamps for the feed/return ones).

I also need prices for some other parts which I'll make a list of tonight.

Cheers!

Thanks for that Paul. The only thing that is missing is the 6 plastic clamps for the fuel vent pipe (sorry I don't have a part no.)

I will give you a call tomorrow to place the order and pay. I make it £129.22 plus whatever the 6 pipe clamps cost.

Cheers!
